How to add and update content in your SmartLink

If you have more specific questions or want quick answers about SmartLinks, check out our SmartLinks Frequently Asked Questions.

You can add content to a SmartLink by editing it or while planning a post.

From the SmartLinks section, follow these steps:

  1. Select the SmartLink you want to edit.
  2. Click the pencil icon (Edit SmartLink).
  3. Inside Edit SmartLink, open the Media tab.
  4. Add your content using one of these options:
  • Add image (upload from your computer)
  • Add video (upload from your computer)
  • Add from Instagram (import from your account)
  • Add from YouTube (connect a feed from your channel or playlist)
  1. (Optional) Reorder the content by dragging the elements.
  2. For each image/video, add the destination link: this is the URL users will access when they click from your SmartLink.

Add Content from YouTube

If your brand has a connected YouTube channel, you can link a video feed directly to your SmartLink. This allows you to keep your content updated automatically without having to add it manually.

From the Media tab, click Add from YouTube:

  1. Select the type of feed you want to connect:
  • Full channel feed: will show videos from the channel connected to your brand.
  • Playlist feed: will show videos from a specific playlist on the channel.
  1. Once selected, the video thumbnails will automatically appear in your SmartLink.

The feed shows the 15 most recent videos from the selected channel or playlist. The system checks the feed every 4 hours to keep the content updated.

Manage the Connected YouTube Feed

Once a feed is connected, you can see which feed is linked from the Media tab. If you want to remove the connection, simply click the remove option and the feed will stop updating in your SmartLink.

Limits and Considerations
  • You can add up to 50 files (images and videos).
  • If your SmartLink contains more than 50 files, only the latest 50 will be displayed.
  • When adding from Instagram, only the last 50 posts can be selected.

πŸ—“οΈ Add Content While Planning

When creating a new post from the Planner, you can add it to one or multiple SmartLinks from the SmartLinks section within the post’s global settings.

Simply select the SmartLinks where you want the post to appear and add the corresponding destination link.

Once the post is published, the image will automatically be added to the selected SmartLinks and, when clicked, it will redirect to the configured URL.
