🏷️ White Label for Agencies: About Clients, Roles, Brands and Teams

Start working with your new Agency platform

💬 These are the remaining tabs in the Whitelabel settings panel (following Route 1, explained here). We discuss each of them in the following paragraphs:

📝🔐🛠️

👥Roles

👩‍💻 Select the permissions you want your client or teammate to handle, either by using a default role or by creating a new one. Check this tab as a table if you want to see default permissions details:

Default Roles permissions details

Check this tab as a list to have an overview of the total number of times each role has been used with your teammates or clients.

Roles list view

If you prefer working with a customized Role, click the + Add role button, and find the list of configuration options to be assign. You can select them as you prefer, enabling View-only, Editing, or a mix of both permissions per role.

Role permissions available

It's worth emphasizing the ‘Management permissions’ you have at the end of that pop-up window. If you want to create a role that grants full access, toggle on the ‘Brand’ button only (the rest of the buttons can stay off), and full access, including management functions (e.g., adding/deleting social media platform connections), will be enabled.

⚠️Please be aware that any available permission will allow your invited user to create/delete brands. Brands can only be edited from the main account (where the payment was made).

You can change the role assigned to a specific client/teammate whenever you need to, so don't worry about mistakes or get to need further changes.

🏢 Brands

👩‍💻 There are multiple ways to add a new brand. In this article, we talk about how to do it from the Whitelabel settings window (admin panel), which can be accessed by opening the Menu > Whitelabel settings > Brands. You can also add new brands from the Connections panel (take a look on how to do it here). Whether you choose adding your brands from the Whitelabel settings menu or from the Connections panel, you'll be able managing it to be shared with your clients and assigned to your teammates. If you're not familiar with what a Brand is, please check the last reference on this fourth article (if you want know article's order, click here).

Brands

If you have access to shared brands as an editor, manager or any other role assigned from a different Metricool account by using the User Manegement, keep in mind these brands won't be managed from the Whitelabel settings panel. You just can work with brands created on your main account (from the payment was made).

🙋‍♂️ Clients

👩‍💻 The tab where you add your clients. Each of them will be added by email, and email's characteristics will be according to the ones you set in the ‘Mail configuration’ tab (explained in detail here).

To add a new one, click the + Add client button. A new pop-up window will require your new client's email address > click ‘Assign brands’ > select the brand(s) and role for that client > click continue > select either to send the default invitation message or the customized one (written in the ‘Email configuration’ tab, mentioned before).

Clients

Please be aware it’s not necessary for your clients to have a Metricool account activated to be integrated into your Agency. If you want to learn how this process will be seen and handled by your client, take a look at the first reference. If you disabled the feature in role permissions, your client won't have access to the Connections panel (learn more about customization here).

🤝Teams

👩‍💻 Finally, the Teams tab lets you add teammates to help you manage your Agency. They won’t need a Metricool account to be part of your team either. Their onboarding process differs slightly from clients'; check the differences here.

Once they have accepted the invitation email, they will automatically be redirected to the analytics dashboard for the brand you assigned them and its configuration.
