There are two ways of adding Teammates and Clients to your Metricool account. We have already explained how to do it in detail for the White Label Agency feature here. You can access it by navigating to Menu > Whitelabel settings.

The second way is through the User Management. This feature is also included in the Advanced packages and is not part of the White Label Agency product. To access it, go to Menu > User Management. We talk in detail about this feature in this article, so please take a look in case you’re interested about learning more (it is available in your Custom package for internal use).

📝 We obtain, then, this set of differences between each other:

Clients added from Whitelabel settings belong to your Agency, and they won’t need a Metricool account to access all available features.
Teammates added from Whitelabel settings won’t need a Metricool account either.
Teammates added from User Management will need to have a Metricool account to work with you.
Clients and Teammates added from User Management will appear in the drop-down list when sending a post to be approved from the Calendar; Clients and Teammates added from Whitelabel settings won’t.
The Clients tab does not exist for the User Management feature.

ℹ️ Please don’t mix them up, since all the White Label settings we have discussed in the previous articles won’t be applied if you invite your Clients/Teammates through the User Management.

📚In Addition

Think about the User Management feature as the internal communication channel 💬, while on the other hand, Whitelabel Clients and Teammates are for external users 🌐 (they don’t need a Metricool account to display Analytics, Calendar, Inbox, etc, dashboards). Permissions and the different options from Roles characteristics are essentially the same for them both.

ℹ️ Please don't mix either the login window. If you're the owner of the Metricool account, that owns the Agency, you always will have to be logged from app.metricool.com.
