WLA: About Clients, Roles, Brands and Teams
🏷️ Start working with your new Agency platform
💬 These are the remaining tabs in the Whitelabel settings panel (following Route 1, explained here). We discuss each of them in the following paragraphs.
📝🔐🛠️
👥Roles
👩💻 Select permissions you want your client to handle either by using a default role or by creating a new one (take in mind this roles will apply to users assigned under the "Clients" tab). Check this tab as a table if you want to see default permissions details:

Check this tab as a list to have an overview of the total number of times each role has been used with your clients.

If you prefer working with a customized Role, click the + Add role button, and find the list of configuration options to be assign. You can select them as you prefer, enabling View-only, Editing, or a mix of both permissions per role.

It's worth emphasizing the ‘Management permissions’ you have at the end of that pop-up window. If you want to create a role that grants full access, toggle on the ‘Brand’ button only (the rest of the buttons can stay off), and full access, including management functions (e.g. adding/deleting social media platform connections), will be enabled.
⚠️Please be aware that none available permission will allow your invited user to create/delete brands. Brands can only be edited from the main account (where the payment was made).
You can change the role assigned to a specific client whenever you need to, so don't worry about mistakes or get to need further changes.
🏢 Brands
👩💻 There are multiple ways to add a new brand. In this article, we talk about how to do it from the Whitelabel settings window (our admin panel), which can be accessed by opening the Menu > Whitelabel settings > Brands. You can also add new brands from the Connections panel (take a look on how to do it here). Whether you choose adding your brands from the Whitelabel settings menu or from the Connections panel, you'll be able managing it to be shared with your clients and assigned to your teammates. If you're not familiar with what a Brand is, please check the last reference on this fourth article (if you want know article's order, click here).

If you have access to shared brands in your paid White Label account as an editor, manager, or any other role assigned through User Management (by going to Menu > User Management, please note that these will not be managed from the Whitelabel settings panel. You will only be able to work with and share brands created in your main account (the one from which the payment was made).
🙋♂️ Clients
👩💻 The tab where you add your clients. Each of them will be added by email, and email's characteristics will be according to the ones you set in the ‘Mail configuration’ tab (explained in detail here).
To add a new one, click the + Add client button. A new pop-up window will require your new client's email address > click ‘Assign brands’ > select the brand(s) and role for that client > click continue > select either to send the default invitation message or the customized one (written in the ‘Email configuration’ tab, mentioned before).

Please note that your clients do not need to have an active Metricool account to be integrated into your Agency. If you want to know how your client will see and manage this process, take a look at the first reference. Any of the roles you create can be assigned to users added from the Clients window; therefore, if you deactivated the feature in the role permissions, your client will not have access to the Connections panel (in case you wish to restrict this capability).
🤝Teams
👩💻 Finally, the Teams tab lets you add teammates to help you manage your Agency. They won’t need a Metricool account to be part of your team either, since a new Metricool account will be created automatically once they accept the invitation. If your teammate already has a Metricool account, he would still be able to be added from Whitelabel settings panel granting access to the White Label features.
Two roles have already been created for your teams, which are the unique two you can use on them: Administrator and Manager.

- Administrators are granted access to General settings and Mail configuration tabs, so they can customize them as well as the account owner. They can also manage brands and clients.
- Manager can handle brands and clients only.
After clicking the email invitation button you sent, they will start working on either these two ways:
- If your teammate has already a Metricool account, they will be automatically redirected to the analytics dashboard with access to all of your brands.
- If your teammate doesn't has a Metricool account yet, a password window will be displayed, and a Metricool account will be generated automatically with the email you sent the invitation as the username and the new password set by your teammate as the Metricool account password.
ℹ️ You can continue learning about adding users in the second reference.
