SMTP Configuration

You can perform the SMTP configuration if you want to customize the originating email address (sending address) so that it is different from Metricool's for the emails your end clients will receive during the management of their account. To do this, please send us the following information via live chat:

• Server Name
• Port
• Access username and password (for the email account, not the email server)
• Email Sender (from)

Ensure that the email account has no security restrictions to guarantee its proper functioning.

Types of Emails You Receive

Here are all the types of emails you can receive from Metricool:

• **Marketing emails: **these will only be received by you (integrator, not your final client).
• Notification emails for user management (such as publications sent for approval). These will not be received in the White Label, as user management is not available there.
• Error emails in the calendar and account disconnections. These emails are received by both you and your end client. For your end client to receive them, you must configure an email address, as indicated in the customization article for iframe integration cited at the bottom of this document.
• Warning emails for disconnection. The same principle applies as for the previous emails: if you want your end client to receive them, you will need to configure an email address.
