How to create ad campaigns
From Metricool you can create your advertising campaigns for both Google and Meta Ads. To do this, you must access the section Ads in the top menu and then click on Create campaign .

Here is a step-by-step guide:
Set up the campaign by adding a name, the landing page URL where you want your customers to arrive when clicking on the ad, the platform, and the objective. Also, indicate the ad location.
⚠️ The Meta Ads Pixel must be configured in the account beforehand. Check the information "How to Set Up and Install a Meta Pixel" in their help center.
Add locations.
Segment the type of users you want to target by gender, age, and language.
Choose the interests of your audience. This step is entirely optional, but audience and interest restrictions can help you better target and ensure that your ads are shown to people more interested in your offering.
Only for Google Ads. Add keywords related to your campaign. This step is entirely optional; you can add as many keywords as you want. Our recommendation is to add at least 10 and no more than 30 keywords. These keywords will be saved for future campaigns you create using Metricool.
It's time to design the campaign by selecting the photo and logo for your ad. Then, add the company name, ad title, and a description. On the right, you can see how it will look on each social network. You can add multimedia content from your PC or an image bank and adapt them with the same image editor we offer in the planner.
⚠️ At the moment, only upload images is allowed. Videos are not supported.
Google Ads Requirements
Multimedia
- Horizontal 1.91:1 - Recommended size 1200 x 628 pixels (min 600 x 314 pixels)
- Square 1:1 - Recommended size 600 x 600 pixels (min 300 x 300 pixels)
Logo
- Ratio 1:1 - Recommended size 1200 x 1200 pixels (min 128 x 128 pixels)
- Ratio 4:1 - Recommended size 1200 x 300 pixels (min 512 x 128 pixels) (optional)
Meta Ads Requirements

Decide on the budget (total or daily) you want to invest in this campaign. According to their estimates, Meta and Google may require a minimum investment amount (in EUR or USD depending on your Meta Ads settings), which we will indicate. In this step, you can also choose whether you want the bid to be manual or automatic and the duration of the campaign.
For Meta Ads, the minimum budget is usually 1 USD, we recommend you to consult this article of Meta for more information.
In addition, the beneficiary and payer fields are mandatory fields for EU and associates countries, if you are in another region, include any word to continue.
If the information is previously configured in the Meta Ads account, the fields will be filled in by default, in case it is the first campaign, you will have to include them and the last modification will be saved for the following promotions.

Review in the summary that everything is as you want it and click on Create Campaign. Your campaign will be sent to Meta or Google for review and approval.
💡 You can pause, reactivate or withdraw a campaign from Metricool in Ads > Campaigns > Status.
