What are SmartLinks?

SmartLinks allow you to create one or more links that open a microsite where you can configure buttons, images, and icons. They will direct your users to the web pages you want or directly to your social networks by clicking on them.

Although  you can use it for any social network or website, this feature especially comes in handy for Instagram and TikTok. These platforms don't allow including links in the posts, there is only one clickable link: the link that you configure in the BIO of your profile. Metricool provides you with a link to place on your Instagram and TikTok profile, which opens the page created through SmartLinks.

Where to Configure Your SmartLinks

You can access your SmartLinks settings from the top menu.

Upon entering, you will first see the SmartLink you are working on, with the option to switch to another if you need to edit a different one. From this same menu, you can also:

• Create a new SmartLink from scratch.
• Clone a SmartLink to quickly replicate its structure.
• Delete a SmartLink that you no longer need.

Once you've selected the SmartLink you want to edit, you will find two main sections:

• Settings, where you can customize all elements of your SmartLink 👉 Check the details in the article How to set up a SmartLink

Add content
