Subdomain Customization via CNAME Integration
🔗 CNAME record
A canonical record (CNAME) serves as an alias for a domain name that shares a single IP address (Cloudflare, 2026).
Replace Metricool's domain URL with yours, so your final client can only see your name in the browser's link. This is key to your White Label customization process. Smartlink domain will also be modified.
Setting
Create a customized access link via a subdomain for your White Label integration as follows:
- If you use Cloudflare as a DNS provider, follow the steps indicated for Cloudflare in this article.
- If your DNS provider is other than Cloudflare, follow the steps in this article.
Once the configuration is complete, please send us the subdomain so we can implement it on our side. After setting it up, we will write back to you, and you can check your links by going to Menu > Connections > White Label.
When we write back to you, we will send you the txt values you must enter in the fields below to create the SSL certificate.

It will be easier, and we recommend, using Cloudflare for CNAME integration, as it speeds up the process. The link you have configured will also appear in other sections, such as the link displayed in publications sent for review by email. In addition, you can confirm that your new subdomain is active by going to Menu > Brand Settings > White Label.
