🏷️ Adding users as Clients and Teammates

Consider that none modification made from the User Management is applied to your White Label Agency.

There are two ways of adding Clients and Teammates to your Metricool account. We have already explained how to do it in detail for the White Label Agency feature here. You can access it by navigating to Menu > Whitelabel settings.

The second way is through the User Management. This feature is also included in the Advanced packages and is not part of the White Label Agency product. To access it, go to Menu > User Management. We talk in detail about this feature in this article, so please take a look in case you’re interested about learning more (as it is available in your Custom package).

📝 We obtain, then, this set of differences between each other:

Clients added from Whitelabel settings belong to your Agency, and they won’t need a Metricool account to access all available features; while Clients **added from the User Management** will need a Metricool account to work alog with you.
Clients added from Whitelabel settings authenticate themselves through the Agency login window (your-agency-name.ext.metricool.com; we talk in detail in first reference); while clients added from the User Management will log in through Metricool (app.metricool.com).
Teammates added from Whitelabel settings are assigned automatically to all brands connected on master's Metricool account (from where payment was made); Teammates added from User Management are manually assigned brand-by-brand.
Teammates added from Whitelabel settings can be assigned as Administrators or Managers **only; **Teammates added from Whitelabel settings can be assigned under any default or customize role.
Users (teammates/clients) added from Whitelabel settings will send customize Agency branding emails for posts to be approved; Users added from User Management will show Metricool branding on these emails.
Users added from User Management will appear in the drop-down list when sending a post to be approved from the Calendar; Clients and Teammates added from Whitelabel settings won’t.

ℹ️ Please remember to not mix them up, since all the White Label settings we have discussed in the previous articles won’t be applied if you invite your Clients/Teammates through the User Management.

📚In Addition

When working in the White Label Agency account, think about Clients and Teammates as a totally separate roles which doesn't have anything in common. Following point number 2, Clients will use the Agency subdomain link, logging in at the Agency only; Teammates (also you) will use a Metricool account (we explain detailes here) to manage Clients information, and will get logged through Metricool.

ℹ️ If you're the owner of the Metricool account, please don't mix the login windows either. You always will have to be logged from app.metricool.com: the Agency login page is for clients only.
