If an error appears when completing or updating your billing information, it’s usually because the Company field doesn’t match the name shown on your official document.


🔍 Main cause


The system checks that the name or business name entered in the Company field matches exactly the name of the holder on the tax or identity document.

If the data doesn’t match, an error will appear, and the changes won’t be saved.


For example:

  • If you invoice as a business or self-employed person, enter your registered business name or full name.
  • If you use a national ID or residence card, the Company field must include your full name exactly as it appears on your official document.


In all cases, the name entered in the Company field must match the name shown on the official document of the holder.

Even if you don’t issue invoices, you must still complete all billing details so that the system can validate your information correctly.


💡 How to fix it


  1. Check that the Company field matches your official tax document.
  2. Make sure your Tax ID Number is entered correctly, without spaces or hyphens.
  3. Select the correct billing country, as formats vary by location.
  4. Save the changes.
