Not getting your post notifications on mobile? Follow these steps

If you’re not receiving post notifications on your mobile device, here are some steps to help you fix it.

👉 Haven’t set up your notifications yet? Check how to configure them here first.

  1. Check your settings in Metricool
Go to Planner > three dots (⋮) > Notifications > My settings
  • Make sure you’ve selected “On my mobile device” in the dropdown.
  • Check that your device appears in the list and is enabled (green toggle).
  • Review the last access date and app version. We recommend using the latest version.

  1. Update the Metricool app
Make sure you have the latest version installed from the App Store or Google Play. Older versions may cause notification issues.

  1. Remove duplicate devices
If your device appears twice with different versions, the notification might be sent to the wrong one.
🔧 Solution: delete the old version using the trash icon.

  1. Send a test notification
Click “Save and send a test” to make sure everything is working.

  1. Check your phone settings
Besides the steps above, make sure your phone is set up to receive notifications:
  • Notification permissions: Go to your phone settings and ensure Metricool is allowed to send notifications.
  • Do Not Disturb mode: Make sure your phone isn’t in Do Not Disturb mode, which can block notifications even when everything is set up correctly.
