I can't connect Facebook

To connect from the iOS mobile app, you need to accept tracking permissions. More info here.

What to check

If you are unable to connect your Facebook page, keep these considerations in account:

To add a Facebook Page (fan page) to Metricool, you need to have the administrator role on the page. Check See your Facebook Page role or access.

If you manage the page from Business Manager, you'll need "Full Control" permissions on the page. More details on how to validate your permissions here.

Additionally, two-factor authentication activation for your account may be required. Refer to "Facebook Two-Factor Authentication" for more details.

You won't be able to add a Facebook Page if you don't grant Metricool all the necessary permissions.

Note that Facebook personal profiles, even those in professional or creator mode, are not supported due to limitations set by Facebook. You can only connect pages managed by a personal profile
. You can confirm this in the details of the public page.

💡 Remember that to manage other Meta-linked connections, the same Facebook administrator profile must have access to Instagram and Facebook ads (advertising account) in Business Manager.

Page Not Appearing in the Options List

If the page you want to connect does not appear in the options list, try the following steps:

Open a new tab in the browser.
Go to Facebook.com and log out.
Then return to Metricool to make the connection. When prompted for credentials, use your personal Facebook administrator profile. Afterward, a list of all fan pages you manage from that administrator profile will appear for you to choose which one to connect.

Another option would be to repeat the process from your browser in incognito mode.

Permission Renewal

If you confirm that you have the necessary permissions, the next step would be to try to renew the permissions. To do this, follow these steps:

If you have multiple pages connected to Metricool with the same admin profile, it may be necessary to reconnect them

Access here. (If you are already in the New Facebook Experience, make sure to switch to the personal profile within Facebook, in the top-right menu, and then click again on this link.
Look for the Metricool app in the list and remove it.
Now go back to Metricool and try to connect again. After accepting the permissions, all the pages you manage should appear.

For the management of multiple Facebook pages, especially in agency scenarios, it's advised to have different administrators connect to Metricool. This way, if Facebook automatically revokes permissions, the impact of disconnecting your pages is minimized, meaning you will have to reconnect fewer pages.
