How to add Alt Text to an image

Alt Text (alternative text) is a brief description of an image that helps people with visual disabilities understand its content through screen readers.
The social networks that support Alt Text in Metricool are:
- Threads
- X (Twitter)
- Bluesky
How to Add Alt Text?
Follow these steps to add alternative text:
- Go to Planner.
- Tap ‘Create Post’ or select the time directly on the calendar.
- Choose the network(s) where you want to publish.
- Attach the image (you can upload it from your device, add it via URL, or use the image library).
- Click on the three dots on the image and select "Add Alt Text." Write the text and click accept.
Done! You’ll see "Alt" on the image thumbnail. You can delete or edit the Alt Text by clicking on the three dots again.
Images from the image library include Alt Text by default.
