The connected account is not the correct one
Has another account been connected?
Browsers often save login credentials in their cache. If the connected account on Metricool is not the one you intended to connect, follow these steps.
Open another tab or window in the browser and log out of the social network you want to connect.
From Metricool, access the connections dahboard.
Disconnect the current connection by clicking on the X next to the account name.
Click on "Connect." A pop-up window from the social network will appear.
Log in with the credentials of the account you want to connect.
💡 For those networks that require administrator permissions, after logging in with the profile, you will see the list of options to which you can connect.
You can also try connecting to Metricool from your browser window in incognito mode. Incognito browsing bypasses cached data, so credentials will always be requested. Disconnect the current connection in Metricool and repeat the connection process.
If you need to change the already connected account, remember that you will have to delete the brand and make the connections from scratch. If a social network is disconnected, the data synchronized so far is not deleted. If you then connect another one, only the data synchronized from that day on will be from the new account. This option is not included in a free account.
Clear the browser cache
If trying the above steps doesn't allow you to connect the correct account, we recommend clearing your browser's cache.
