YouTube Connection

To connect your YouTube channel to Metricool, it is mandatory to have administrator permissions on the account (email) with which you grant access. It is important to accept all permissions in the connection process.

Keep in mind that you must have permission in the settings of the channel itself; permissions in YouTube Studio are not valid

Manage YouTube channels

It is possible to configure YouTube channels so that you can manage it only by yourself or give access to other people. There are two options for a YouTube channel:

Connect it to your personal Google account where the channel will use the name and picture of your Google account. Using this option only you can access the YouTube channel and the Google account.

Connect it to a branded account, where the channel can use a different name than your Google account. In this option you can give several people administrator or owner roles to be able to access the YouTube channel connected to the Google account that created the branded account.

From a single Google account you can manage multiple brand accounts connected to different YouTube channels, without having to leave that Google account, you can find more information here. Now you can check if you have the brand account manager the Youtube channel to connect channels of your customers or external, we share with you the step by step:

Is it possible to move your channel to another account?

It is possible to migrate a channel from a personal account to a brand account and vice versa. It would also be possible to transfer a channel from one brand account to another.
You can make the change from the advanced settings of the YouTube channel.

For more information on how to set up and manage your channel we share here the YouTube Help portal.
