X (Twitter) Metrics

X (Twitter)

The data for X is organic. Twitter ads is not included, but X's API provides information on whether a post was promoted.
To access all metrics, you will need to have a premium Advanced or Custom plan. Check here access to X depending on your plan.

👀 Considerations

Post Balance: (Starter Plan) shows the difference in the number of posts made on the account during the selected period, comparing the current day with the last day before that period; this balance excludes reposts and replies and takes into account deleted content, which may result in a negative outcome.
Impressions: Metricool shows the impressions obtained by posts during the selected period. X includes impressions generated during the period, even from posts published months earlier.
Interactions: X considers more interactions than those provided through the API, so they are not available in Metricool. You can view the details here.
Posts with mentions: Posts that start with a user mention (e.g., those beginning with "@" followed by a username) are considered replies, not original posts.
Posts with multimedia files: Files must be in the "media" section, whether they are replies or original posts.
Post List: The post list does not show reposts (only the number of reposts obtained is detailed). Additionally, in Starter plans, only posts published through the planner are displayed.

✅ BALANCE OF FOLLOWERS

It records all the follower changes that occurred in the time span selected. If a new follower stops following us and then starts following us again on different days, it will count as 2 followers. This not includes deleted or restricted accounts.

The Follower Balance is meant to analyze the reaction of our community to our publications and to see which days we gain or lose the most followers.

Acquired: Followers earned in the selected period. If there are accounts that have been blocked or have been deleted in the period, they won’t appear in the dashboard but they will be displayed in the report.
Lost: Followers lost in the selected period.
Posts: Balance of the number of posts from the account in the selected period (difference between the current day and the day before the selected period).

✅ ACQUISITION

Gained - lost: Followers we have gained or lost in the period. The list is sorted in order of followers gained or lost from most recent to least recent always within the period.
