How to customize your affiliate link and generate trial codes

Customize your affiliate link and generate trial codes from the Settings tab of the Affiliate Dashboard, and manage both from the same place.

Access the Affiliate Dashboard settings

To open the Settings tab:

1. Click the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.

2. Select Affiliate Program.

3. Open the Settings tab.

Manage your affiliate links

You can create multiple affiliate links, each with its own name, slug, and landing page.

To create a new link:

1. In the Your affiliate links section, click Add new link.

2. Enter a Name to identify the link.

3. Enter a Slug — the customizable part of your link URL (https://i.mtr.cool/your-slug).

4. Set the Landing (path) — the destination page users will land on after clicking.

5. Click Save.

To delete an existing link, use the actions menu next to each link.

Generate trial codes

You can create personalized trial codes from the Your trial codes section.

1. Click Add new code.

2. Enter the name for your code.

3. Click Save.
   The code will appear in your trial codes list once created.

Manage existing trial codes

In the Your trial codes section, you can manage the codes you have created.
For each code, you can:

• View the creation date

• See the number of uses

• Check the current status (Enabled or Paused)

• Copy the code using the copy icon

• Pause or enable the code from the actions menu

• Delete the code by clicking the bin icon

Trial conditions

Each generated trial code:

• Grants a 30-day trial

• Is valid for first-time users only (users who have not previously had a paid plan)

• Cannot be applied to your own account

• Has no expiration date
