Metricool app does not display correctly on Android device

What this article covers

If the Metricool app does not display correctly on an Android device — showing blank screens, getting stuck, or loading slowly — check the following verified steps.

Update Android System WebView

Metricool uses Android System WebView to render content. If it is outdated, the app may not display correctly.

  1. Check that Android System WebView is updated to the latest version in the Google Play Store.

Clear Google Play Services cache

A corrupt cache for Google Play Services can affect how apps render and authenticate.

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Services > Storage and tap Clear cache.

  2. For detailed steps, see this Google support article.

Clear the Metricool app cache and force stop

Temporary files in the Metricool app can also cause display problems.

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Metricool > Storage and tap Clear cache.

  2. Tap Force stop, then reopen the app.

See How to clear the Metricool app cache for full instructions.

Close and reopen the app

Fully close Metricool from your recent apps and reopen it.

If the app still does not display correctly after the checks above, try updating Metricool from the Play Store. If the problem continues, contact us through our chat.
