Your account is you: your login, email, and preferences. A brand is a container for one business or client, with its own social profiles, planner, and analytics. One account can have several brands, depending on your plan.
How is my Metricool account organized?
Updated today
Your Metricool account has four levels: your account, your organization, your brands, and the social profiles connected to each brand. Knowing where each one lives helps you find the right setting and decide how to give your team access.
Your account
Your account is the Metricool login you created when you first registered, and it is associated with an email address. It is you: your name, email, password, and preferences. If you hold the subscription, you are also the owner, and only the owner manages the plan and billing.
To open your account info, click the menu at the top right and select Account settings. For more information, see Manage your account settings.
Your organization
The organization groups the owner, their brands, and their team under one name. All your brands belong to it, and you manage it from Organization settings in the menu at the top right.
If you add people to your account, they join your organization in one of two ways:
As a team member, with a role in all your brands, including brands you add later.
As a collaborator, with a role only in the brands you select.
To learn which one to choose, see User management & organizations in Metricool.
Your brands
With each Metricool brand, you can manage a complete brand or client with all its social networks associated. You can connect one profile per social media and ad platform, and one website or blog.
To change the brand, click on the drop-down next to the brand name.
From the Name and Picture section or Brand settings, you can edit the name and select the logo of your connected networks.
To learn how brands work, see What’s a Brand in Metricool and How Does It Work?. To create or remove one, see How to add or delete brands to your account.
Your social profiles
A social profile is an account on any social network that you have connected, for example, a Facebook page. Within each brand you can connect one social profile of each platform. To connect one, follow How to connect social media and ad platforms to Metricool.
