The integration between Make and Metricool lets you automate tasks related to your social media strategy by connecting your account with other tools. With API access, you can build custom automations to simplify processes and save time in your daily work.

This integration works via API, so you'll need an Advanced or Custom plan to access your API Key in your Metricool account settings.

How does it work?

Follow these steps to start automating with Make:

  1. Create a connection with Metricool
    Open Make and add a new scenario. Search for Metricool Verified and click "create connection".

  2. Enter your API Key
    Click the ☰ three-bar icon in the top right corner to open the menu. Then go to > Account Settings > Access > API and copy your token. Paste it in Make to authorize the connection.

  3. Choose an action or create your own call
    You can use preset actions like create a post, get connected accounts, etc.
    Or create custom calls using the Metricool API if you need more flexibility.

Make sure to use public URLs (Drive, Dropbox, etc.) to share your media (images or videos), so Metricool can properly access the files when publishing. Keep in mind that if you upload a video in .mov format, Metricool automatically converts it to .mp4. This process may take longer than usual, and the connection may close due to a timeout before the conversion is completed.

Combine Make with your favorite apps like Google Sheets, Notion, or Airtable to build custom automations that suit your way of working.

Real example: automate post creation from Google Sheets

  1. Export your post template as CSV from Metricool.

  2. Import the file into Google Sheets.

  3. Set up a scenario in Make that maps the sheet's columns to Metricool's module fields.

  4. Automate: every new row will automatically create a post in your calendar—no manual CSV uploads needed.
