Available payment methods in Metricool

You can pay for your Metricool subscription by card or PayPal. This article lists what each method accepts, the requirements for a successful payment, and where to manage your billing details.

Credit or debit card

We accept major credit and debit cards such as Visa and Mastercard.

Prepaid and virtual cards are not accepted.

For a card payment to succeed, your card must:

  • Be enabled for online and international payments.

  • Have enough funds and not be at its spending limit.

  • Support recurring payments on subscription platforms. Indian-based credit cards do not support automated recurring billing.

  • Let you complete your bank's verification, which some banks require for each charge (for example an SMS code or app approval).

How to pay with a card

  1. On the payment page, choose card.

  2. Enter your card number, expiration date, and security code (CVV).

  3. Complete your bank's verification process (may require an SMS code or app approval).

  4. Confirm the payment.

PayPal

You can pay with your PayPal account. Your PayPal account must be verified and linked to a valid funding method, such as a card or bank account.

A PayPal payment can fail if no card or bank account is linked, even when your PayPal balance covers the amount.

How to pay with PayPal

  1. On the payment page, select PayPal.

  2. Log in to PayPal when you're redirected.

  3. Confirm the payment; you return to Metricool automatically.

Billing details and conditions

Complete your billing information, as an individual or a company, before paying. Your VAT or tax ID must match the company name you enter.

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically on the monthly or yearly cycle you chose while the plan is active.

  • Currency: Choose euros (€) or US dollars ($) when you subscribe. No other currencies are supported.

  • Invoices: Each completed payment generates an invoice under Plan and billing > Payment history, and you can receive future invoices by email. See How to download or receive my invoices by email?.

  • Updating your payment method: Change your payment method anytime from Plan and billing. Management is web-only and, for shared-brand accounts, only the paid-account owner can manage it. See How to change your payment method.

  • Taxes: VAT may be added depending on your country. See Why am I being charged VAT on my invoice?.
