Connect your Google Business Profile location
To connect a Google Business Profile location you need permissions within your email account, we explain how to verify them here.
A priori, all roles are valid to connect the location to Metricool. However, due to some changes being made to the API by Google, it is possible that for some accounts the Manager role may not be sufficient to make the connection or access all metrics.
If you have more than one location, you will need to connect each location to a different Metricool brand.
In case you need reports with information from different locations, you can generate them with the Looker Studio connector (available for Advanced and Enterprise plans).
Connect the location
Complete the following steps:
Access the connections dashboard.
Click on "Connect a Google Business Profile account" . A Google pop-up window will appear.
Log in to your Google email account (or select it if you are already logged in) and click continue.
Grant permissions to Metricool, marking all permissions and click continue (at no time will Metricool make use of these permissions beyond the connection, analytics and content publication). If you have an account with a company domain, the permissions will already be accepted and you only have to click on allow.
5. A list will appear to select the location. Click on the option you want to connect.
No locations are listed?
If you get the message "We have not found any locations related to this account " we recommend the following:
make sure you are signed in with the correct Google email account
if you have a manager role try to connect by requesting an owner role.
