It is not possible to unlink Threads from Instagram without deleting the Threads account.
Deleting your Threads account will not affect your Instagram account, according to recent updates.

Verify the Linking
To check if your Threads account is already linked to Instagram, review your profile in Threads.
Within the Threads app, go to your profile. There, you’ll see your username and other details reflecting your Instagram account information, confirming the link between both accounts. For example, clicking on the username will display a message indicating that it is synced with Instagram and any changes must be managed from there.
