How to connect your Pinterest account

You can connect Pinterest business and personal accounts to Metricool using your login credentials. Both can schedule and publish Pins, but only business accounts have analytics, because Pinterest provides statistics only to business accounts.
Business Manager permissions only apply to ad management—they’re not valid to connect with Metricool. More info here.
To get analytics for a personal account, switch it to a business account on Pinterest first. After you change the account type, reconnect it in Metricool. Until then, the Pinterest analytics section in Metricool shows a notice that personal accounts have no analytics.
Here’s how to connect your account:
Log in to Metricool and go to the connections panel.
Click on “Connect a Pinterest account.” A pop-up window will open.
Log in to the Pinterest account you want to connect and accept the requested permissions.
That’s it! Your account will be connected and ready to start scheduling Pins. If it’s a business account, you can also track results and improve your Pinterest strategy with Metricool.
