Regenerate your API connection token

If your API token has been compromised or you need to rotate it for security, you can now regenerate it directly from your Metricool account settings.
This feature is available for Advanced and Custom plans.
How to regenerate your token
Go to Settings.
Click on the API tab.
In the REST API Accesstoken section, click the three-dot menu ⋮ next to your token.
Select Regenerate token.
A confirmation modal will appear. Type REGENERATE to confirm.
Click Confirm.
Your new token will be generated immediately and the previous one will be invalidated right away.
Regenerating your token will immediately invalidate your previous token. All active integrations (Looker Studio, Zapier, API calls, etc.) will stop working until you update them with the new token.
Type REGENERATE exactly as shown in the modal. This confirmation step prevents accidental regenerations that could disrupt your integrations.

Once you have your new token, update it in all places where you use it:
Looker Studio data sources
Zapier integrations
Make (Integromat) scenarios
n8n workflows
Custom API scripts or applications
