Frequent posting errors & troubleshooting by social network

This error indicates that you do not have sufficient permissions to post. Remember that you need super administrator permissions. You can easily check this within LinkedIn by going to the top right "Me" menu > Click on the company name > Settings > Manage Admins.

This error indicates that LinkedIn cannot access the image associated with the link included in the copy. Although the preview in Metricool may display the image correctly, LinkedIn is unable to retrieve it when processing the URL, so the final post may appear without an image.

When analyzing the URL, LinkedIn will show the field Image: No image found.

Keep in mind that previews are an approximation of how the post will look. The final result may differ.

This error means LinkedIn is blocking posts from your account. It can happen for the following reasons:

• Your LinkedIn account has an active restriction (due to unusual activity or a security review).

• Your LinkedIn connection has expired or been revoked.

• The app permissions changed since you last connected your account.

How to fix it

1. Try posting directly on linkedin.com. If you can't post there either, the issue is with your LinkedIn account and you'll need to resolve it with them directly.

2. If you can post on LinkedIn without issues, the problem is with the connection. Disconnect and reconnect LinkedIn from Settings → Social Networks.

3. Try publishing again.

This error means you have reached your posting limit on Metricool for YouTube. Keep in mind that these limits are per 24-hour period, not by calendar day.

• FREE Plan: 10 posts every 24 hours

• Paid plans: 20 posts every 24 hours.
  To check if you can post, count the last 24 hours from the current time; if there are fewer posts than the set limit, you can post.

This warning (the video is published) means the account doesn't have the feature enabled to set custom thumbnails when uploading via the API. The channel owner needs to verify the YouTube account and make sure the "custom thumbnails" option is turned on. You can check the details here.

Bluesky can still appear connected in Metricool while scheduling or publishing fails with an authentication or credentials error. Metricool authenticates Bluesky with the standard handle only. Custom domains (for example, user.yourdomain.com) are not supported in the API authentication flow.

To fix it:

1. Open the connections dashboard.

2. Click the X next to the Bluesky account name to disconnect it.

3. Click Connect.

4. Sign in with your Bluesky credentials (or continue if you are already logged in) and accept the permissions. Use the standard .bsky.social handle, not a custom domain.

If the browser keeps a cached session, reconnect from an incognito or private window so credentials are requested again.
