X (Twitter) Metrics

Good to know
Post Balance (Starter Plan): Net change in the number of posts during the selected period. It is calculated as the difference between the total number of posts at the end of the period and the total recorded on the day before the start of the period. This value is based on the total number of posts displayed on the X profile and takes deleted content into account, so it may be negative. In the chart, this change is broken down into bars showing the daily variation in posts compared to the previous day.
Full metrics access (Advanced and Custom plan): Full access to all X metrics is available on Advanced and Custom plans. On the Starter plan, the Posts section includes only the list of posts.
Impressions: Metricool shows the impressions obtained by posts during the selected period. X includes impressions generated during the period, even from posts published months earlier.
Interactions: X considers more interactions than those provided through the API, so they are not available in Metricool. You can view the details here.
Posts with mentions: Posts that start with a user mention (e.g., those beginning with "@" followed by a username) are considered replies, not original posts.
Posts with multimedia files: Files must be in the "media" section, whether they are replies or original posts.
Post List: The post list does not show reposts (only the number of reposts obtained is detailed). Additionally, in Starter plans, only posts published through the planner are displayed.
Below, you’ll find all the available metrics for your X (Twitter) account:
For date ranges, comparisons, charts, and CSV exports, see How to use and explore the Analytics tab.
If you hover over the arrow icon next to the numbers, it will show you the variation of the current period with respect to the previous period. For example, if you select a week, the result will compare to the previous 7 days.

Engagement measures how users interact with your content in relation to how visible or far-reaching it is.

Note: The engagement of competitors is calculated differently from your own account. We recommend adding your own account as a competitor to make the data comparable.
