How to Manage Your Clients' Brands in Metricool

Connecting Your Clients' Social Networks

You have two options to connect your clients' social networks to Metricool:

  1. The brand owner or someone with management permissions on the Metricool account connects them.
    You'll need admin permissions or login credentials for the social network. Learn more here.

  2. Your client connects their social media accounts.
    You'll have two options:

  • Grant them management permissions for the brand within your account so they can access and connect their own accounts.

  • Share a link so they can connect their social media accounts without needing an account. Learn more here.

Access and Permissions

With User Management, you can grant unlimited users access to one or multiple brands and choose their level of access. There are predefined roles (Analyst, Editor, Admin, Content Creator, and Client) and the option to create custom roles.

In a single interface, you can assign multiple brands to a user and manage their permissions.

Sharing a brand only requires a free account. If the collaborator doesn't have an account yet, they will receive an email invitation.

When you share a brand with a free account, that user gets paid features on the shared brand — no upgrade needed on their end.

Review and Approval of Posts

With Content Approval System, you can manage content approvals before publishing.

Send posts for review:

  • Send posts directly from the calendar to any email address

  • Reviewers don't need an account

  • Track approval status without back-and-forth emails

Manage access with roles:

  • Assign roles instead of sharing credentials

  • You don't need to share passwords or usernames

  • Revoke access instantly if someone leaves

Leave feedback on posts:

  • Use notes to request specific changes directly on posts

  • Changes are visible to all team members

  • Approve once adjustments are made

Track the workflow:

  • View content from creation through approval to publishing

  • See who approved what and when

  • Each collaborator with an account can manage pending posts through My Tasks

Features for Agencies
